Sounds very diverse - a strange line up of genre and non-genre, but Peter Carey did that in his great collection written in 1974, "The Fat Man in History", which included a science fiction story mixed with what some might call magic realism stories.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of that collection. May have even read it. Yes the mix is very diverse. I'm hoping the theme of 'Stars in their Eyes', deluded souls etc reverberates throughout. i think it does for most. But then again, I'm not the best judge. Be interesting to see how others feel it flows.
DeletePersonally, I like a good mix up. I think there's enough unity. We'll see!
