A tornado victim

 '... she was rising from the floor as the roof twisted and the walls crumbled.'

I have a flash fiction piece online now at Micro Literature.

She was slim once.

The story is fiction, yet I am affected by these types of tragedies, as indeed, many people are and I felt moved to write. I wanted to make the victim real rather than a simple statistic.
